Estate's story
The property was bought in 2000 by Madeleine and Jacques Philippe which realized a dream: she, because of origin of Bordeaux. Him, engineer by training, after a job in a big group of services wished to become a wine grower.  

Wine making process 
On a soil of Grave, this 10 hectare property produces a generous wine. The breeding is made in barrels for 14 months (33 % of new every year).

50% Cabernet Sauvignon
45% Merlot
5% Petit Verdot 

Surface:  10 hectares 
Soil:   Gravel and  clay 
Picking of the very ripe and healthy grapes.  

Vinification
Traditional methods of vinification, all the tanks are equipped with Thermoregulation. Raisin grazed, trampled, put in fermentation tanks with pre-fermentation cold for 2 days (depending on vintage), fermentation between 22 and 30 ° for 2 to 3 weeks after tasting. Draining and malolactic fermentation in vats. Natural Yeast. 

Growing
Aged 100% in French oak barrels during 12 months
Traditional racking-Blending before the bottling 

Tasting 
Deep garnet red colour, a bouquet of plum , tobacco, spices and leather. Of soft attack, its round and fleshy with silky tannins. Two-three years of patience will be necessary.

Rich and deep, savoury, lush and supple. Really this is a very, very nice wine.
Elegant, supple and long. Drink 2009-12.

Decanter Rating: *** 3 stars
Raspberry and rose perfume. Light, fresh style, lovely balance of sweet fruit and gentle oak bolstered by a touch of tannin. Drink from 2010. (15.67 points).
